The artist conceives of painting as a way to express her total self. This is emphasized through a variety of styles and colours, ranging from a deep black to an intense red and a warm gold. We are not in front of abstract works, but rather before light, underlying forms which express the urge to flourish out the sheath of sensorial experience...the colours seem to court reality and, all the same, they give room for an awareness of what the painting is narrating.
